Biodegradeable Straws, (Pack of 50)

These straws are manufactured from polylactide (PLA), a renewable resource-based resin.  The material uses carbon stored in starch plants, usually corn or other substances like sugar or wheat,  which can be broken down into sugars.  The carbon and other elements in these natural sugars are then used to make this natural plastic' through a process of fermentation.  Packaging made from PLA is bio-degradable and reverts in less than 60 days in ideal conditions, namely in a commercial composting facility. 
Please note that PLA products are not suitable for hot drinks and can not be exposed to direct sunlight.
